Devotional: Tuesday – Joshua 1:1-9 – Courage to Go There

“You don’t want to go there.” This is a common warning that you are about to get into unpleasant territory. However, when it comes to discerning God’s vision, the motto is, “You do want to go there!” Yes. You will serve at a higher level and sometimes face challenges. Yet, God will provide the courage you need. Go there.

Prayer: God of such unwavering love, your vision sometimes seem expansive, scary and daunting, but with you in the vessel, I can smile at the storm. I do want to “go there” Lord, wherever “there” will be. I trust you to give courage, vision and strength to accomplish all of your goals, in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
